First Dream - For the Persona 3 and 4 Cast Only
As you open your eyes, you become aware that you are seated in a lavishly decorated train with dim lighting that gives everything blue and purple tints. Seated across from you, a table between you, is a small old man with an enormous nose and large, bloodshot eyes. He seems to be deep in thought before he addresses you, his voice at once mysterious and incredibly polite. "Welcome... to the Velvet Room." He gestures to the train you are both seated in.

“My name is Igor, and you have been summoned here because something has changed in your intriguing destiny. This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter...it is a room that only those bound by a "contract" may enter. You and others are fast approaching such a fate, but it is up to you whether or not you will accept it.

“But do not be alarmed. You have had previous experience once before, yes?” As he gazes at you, you know the man is referring to that year, the year that changed everything: the shadows, your Persona, saving the world…

He smiles. "It appears another great trial is in store for you, and you will have the choice of entering a contract to take charge of your fate. For you see, you have the ability to defy the fate that is coming. If you do not...it is possible that you will be lost forever. My duty is to provide assistance to guests like you, to ensure that this does not happen. In return, all I ask is that you accept responsibility for all of your actions."

Your mind full of thoughts, you nod your head.

Igor chuckles and nods. "Very well. You will visit me again, and when you do, I will be able to tell you more about how I can help you."
